Well like the topic suggests this is just a few of my favorite webcomics not counting the ones that everyone here will have most likely read (CTV and UiU) Bob and George (bobandgeorge.com) A Megaman sprite comic that I find vastly entertaining, ridiculously random, but still has a followable plotline. Some of the jokes are over used a bit but it is mostly good stuff. Apparently fairly popular based on some the authors notes of some of the megaman sprite comics on this site >_> In Wily's Defence (incomprehensibility.com) Another Megaman sprite comic with less random and more plotline for those who might not appreciate the ridiculous level of randomness in Bob and George. VG Cats (vgcats.com) A gamer's comic, referencing all sorts of games in no particular order, poking fun at them and replacing some of the characters with cats, but still getting the point across. CtrlAltDel (ctrlaltdel-online.com) Another gamer's comic, but this follows a storyline the whole time and is based on the life of a few people sharing rent on an apartment, all of them being gamers. Penny Arcade (penny-arcade.com) Yet another gamer's comic (can you guess if I'm one yet ) has a bit of a plotline but it is basically random wise cracks based on games in some form or another. Anyways just some random fun to be had with these if you enjoy them then good for you ^_^ Either way thanks for caring enough to check this out ;D

Ooh, let me add a few I read: I've cut out the ones I read for 'meh' sake, so I'm hoping you find a good read or two in this. Amelius-related comics (Which you probably already know about): www.cwensquest.com/www.drunkduck.com/Unlife_is_Unfair/Updates more than weekly: www.precociouscomic.com/www.quantumvibe.com/www.ozfoxes.com/fauxpas.htmNewspaper-style comics: www.tinasgroove.com/www.johnhartstudios.com/ckennel/www.gocomics.com/skinhorsewww.housepetscomic.com/Varies in funniness, very slice-of-life at times freefall.purrsia.com/default.htmwww.kevinandkell.com/willsaveworldforgold.com/Weeklies www.sdamned.com/A bit sappy, but very original. Still feel it ends a bit abruptly. ozyandmillie.org/comic-archive/One of the oldest ones I know. Always looking for more, please post your favourite favourites! Thanks for the list too Sushiboy, it's a handy list. Sites like TWC are full of artificially bolstered rankings and people here have at least similar tastes. I'm still going through two of yours, but they are holding my attention so far. Update 2011-06-22, Wow, I've discovered a few comics good enough to make the list, that or I'm feeling a bit relaxed about what I list. 2011-07-30 Lots of new webcomics in the last year, all just coming to light now. 2011-12-17 Just a handful I found since the last pass that meet the grade of worth sharing. 2012-04-20 Added a few more and some, hopefully, up-and-coming ones. Removed Derideal - website go bye bye. I really liked that one 2012-06-02 Found Derideal again and new comic by Ozzie & Millie's creator, so thought it worth updating. 2012-09-08 Added a few more. 2012-11-09 Found a nice handful. Removed one that got boring. Added one I can't believe I didn't already have on here. 2013-02-16 Added a few. Pulled a few that weren't updating anymore.

I don't look at too many webcomics. I DO read Charby the Vampirate Dr. McNinja xkcd Scandinavia and the World (anything by humon, actually) (do the Ansem Retorts count? It's a sprite fan comic. But very funny. (yeah, i'm a super nerd.))

Errr... Right about now, I'm really into Homestuck. But I've read a lot of webcomics, so it's hard for me to really sort out which ones were my favourite! XD
I guess I like Rice Boy a lot too, and do I even have to mention that I like CTV?

Okay. I've got a concept for a comic that is incredibly easy to draw. It's only a little more complicated than stick figures, but has a premise I find intriguing. I've come up with quite a few characters that have no place in a normal story, so they're all just kinda' floating in my head, in limbo. So... I'm going to make a comic that takes place in limbo. Any random plot idea or character concept I have will get thrown into the mix and I'll see what happens. Anybody interested in the idea? I'd like opinions. (No new thread for this, since it's still relevant.)

To quote, uh, someone, comics are like steroids for artists. One of the quickest ways to improve art and storytelling is to do comics. Even if you start with simple stick figures, things will slowly evolve one way or another. If you do decide to go for it Sushi: 1.) Linky-link plz 2.) Keep at it. Even if it feels dull, working through that will teach you more than just waiting for inspiration.

Oh don't you worry, (while not as good as me... ;D), sushi's got a distinct artistic style and the ability to utilize it.

Oh, this comic isn't one I find dull at all. I write it and it comes surprisingly naturally and quickly. My only limitations are lack of free time and a scanner. As for my distinct artistic style, that would take even ore time. It's more doodle based.

good, because I want to do one. It'll be easy, only updated when something interesting happens to me, and not on top priority.

hardy har har. You could be right. I already have some drafted. But... (but nothing I'm gonna do it!). Just because it's my conspiracy number, I guess it'll be called "28!". My physics classes alone could set me up for a years worth of daily comics.

and in every class you'll blow up the world. oh wait that's what i did in physical science class then I rebuilt the world in my image... oh wait that's god.

My physics class was terribly boring.
It doesn't have to be events that took place that day either. So many old inside jokes could be exploited and made into comics.

yeah well, I've got an interesting teacher. I can not recall how many times he's electrocuted me for the fun of it with a smile on his face. Some guy today also got whipped in the nuts with a heavy duty spring. He throws papers at us, on the floor, and in whatever direction he feels like.
He's an awesome teacher though.

sounds like my old physics teacher. well physics honors he wouldn't let me take basic physics because I got a perfect score of the physical science exam. that guy was a glutton too. not fat but the guy could eat like five pounds of food and five minutes later stand in fron of the class and say that he was hungry (this is not an exageration he really did once)

I'm with Jety. I could go to a sushi place, order the biggest sushi-combo-platter-thing they had, eat it, a bowl of soup. finish off the food of at least three other people who came with me (who have small stomachs), have a bowl of rice or two, a few cups of green tea, two desserts, and be hungry by the time I got in the car to leave (that is, if I actually got my fill in the first place).

That's so similar to my Physic's Teacher that it's creepy. That guy ate two thanksgiving dinners, a bushel of grapes, half a bag of rice crackers, and this massive burger that some students bribed him with to get back into school (for they had ditched during lunch for burgers) and he was still hungry. Guy had a minifridge in his room that was constantly empty because every time he filled it up he'd start snacking right then and there.
