I wouldn't be too sure. : ) I've done similar things in the past, and I've often kept in contact with the kiddos I've worked with for quite awhile, and the fact that they even bothered to write me back tells me that, if we're willing to take the time to invest in them, they'll remember. It'll be tough, but you have a chance to do some great things hear. I hope you'll use every oppertunity you get. : D

I was in San Diego! We went to the beach 4 times! The beaches there are so wonderful it's not to be believed! However, waking up in a pool of sweat is not cool, especially when you do it for the entire week, not to mention showering in the YMCA where there's most often a whole bunch of old naked ladies wandering about. *shudder* But yeah, the no-AC, showers, and being in a small alley where cars regularly come literally SCREAMING down the street were the worst parts. And the constant low-flying planes. I got to work in a soup kitchen and an assembly line for boxes full of easy-prepare food that will go to families who need help, and I got to work with the most awsome Canadians I've ever met. Man, they were GREAT. Really great people. Unfortunately, other people got to work with the kids, but from what it sounds like, it's good I didn't get them because of how the other people described having to break the little kids' hearts at the end of the week by leaving. But, the soup kitchen was AWSOME, even if it did smell bad. Gyeh, never going to get that scent off me. More about it later, I think. I'M SO GLAD TO BE HOME!!!!!!

This thread has been dead for far too long.... Lucky, I have something to say that can revive it!!!!
First off... I GOT ACCEPTED INTO MACC!!! *dances* Now, after this, I jsut have to get into my four year college of choice. >^_^<
Secondly... I now own a sword. Neat, huh? ^^
Thirdly, I have contacts now. ^_^-
Hmm... Is that enough to sufficiently revive this thread? ^_^

Okay, but be forewarned: my hat is so cute, it makes people cry. =3 And strongly reminds me of one DiT comic. "WAAAAH! CUTE HAT! *dives for it*" Shippo has 3600 posties, too. Also: www.drunkduck.com/Charby_the_Vampirate/index.php?p=126037 OH MY SQUEE. I is in teh punch in teh comicu! Comic 666 too. Holy cats. Interactive cameo. Is possibly like my fan comic. I could explode from the sheer awexomeosity of it. Many mahalos, Amelius-sama! =3

You should change your "Location" text to say "In the punch bowl"

Congrats, wolf!
Yeah, I haven't heard much good about vista (but I'm adamantly against windows, even though I have XP on my laptop >.<).
